A short dinner trip turned into a hobby for the three of us.
As we were cruising down the road around Taman Mayang trying to search for a particular restaurant, we bumped into Milligram Cafe. It was quite bizarre for us to find a rather ravishing cafe around that location, but thanks to its' interesting sign and simplish-hipster look, it caught our eyes that made us hop into the cafe to try what they got to offer.
The staff were super friendly and easy to talk to. We asked for their suggestion for food as it was our first time there (obviously) and so they suggested that we chose the baked macaroni cheese and grilled chicken chop for starters.
So yes, that is what we went with, at the end.

Results? It was absolutely delicious and we really enjoyed the meal. So shout out to the staff that suggested it!
The chicken was grilled perfectly and don't get me started with the mac and cheese. If you knew me personally, you'd know that I am a sucker for cheese and to have it prepared perfect and deliciously, it was good enough to ask for.
The velvet taste and smoothering way on how the cheese melts in your mouth is utterly complete. As in, there's nothing else in the world you would want more besides it.
Following for the desserts; a slice of a classy Red Velvet cake along with a cup of Cappuccino and Mocha (RM12) made us relive ourselves up into paradise.
To the point that, we promised one another; we'll be coming year every May 20th to give cheers to the day and the profound date of a beginning.

Pictures can be deceiving not unless, the spread through word of mouth is quite good as well, am I right? And before I forget the most important part, you should never leave the cafe without trying their finger licking good, salted caramel butter cake which is only for RM15. This is the only cake that will forever be in my "best-cakes-list!"
Yes, it is that good.

On a side note, the price range of a meal does not exceed more than RM30 (updated) which makes it totally affordable and even worth it for young adults like us.
Thus, you won't be paying for only the goodness of the meals but also the peaceful serendipity environment that you are in, as well. Oh and they have wifi! Bonus point. Give or take, a place with internet access is always a privilege.
However, due to my observations, people do drop by in for a nice cup of coffee or a chance of completing assignments but mostly for a good meal with good friends. You can't see one gloomy faces that enters the cafe and I reckoned Milligram has that affect on you; on us - simplicity and good vibes.
All-in-all, it was a memorable night, indeed.
So what you waiting for? Head down to Milligram - Cafe & Eatery soon!
